Each of our plans also include $5M liability coverage, which may already be a requirement under your t’s and c’s.

What's Covered

Coverage at home or overseas

We will provide coverage for Australian residents that are getting married in Australia or overseas. Personal Liability coverage is not included for overseas weddings.

Wedding Event Cancellation, Postponement or Rescheduling

If it is necessary to cancel, postpone or reschedule your wedding event, we will reimburse you, up to the limits outlined in the table of benefits, for certain unforeseen events. Coverage includes cancellation by the venue, injury or sickness to the bride, groom or an immediate family member, severe weather or natural disasters and more.

Wedding Attire & Wedding Rings

If your wedding attire and/or wedding rings are lost, stolen or damaged whilst in possession of the bride, groom, a member of the bridal party or an immediate family member, then we will reimburse you, up to the amounts outlined in the table of benefits, for the actual and incurred cost to either repair or replace.

 

Wedding Gifts

If within seven (7) days prior, or at your wedding event, your wedding gifts are lost, stolen or damaged due to accident, fire or theft, we will reimburse the cost to repair or replace (whichever is less) Your Wedding Gifts up to $500 per item. The maximum amount payable in total for all items is outlined in the table of benefits. The maximum amount payable for money as a wedding gift is $500 in total.

Wedding Supplier Failure

If your original wedding supplier fails to meet written, signed and contracted obligations to you for your wedding event resulting from the wedding supplier’s bankruptcy, liquidation (after paying the supplier any monies) or non-appearance, we will reimburse you up to up to the limits outlined in the table of benefits.

Personal Liability

If due to an accident caused by your action (or any persons for which you are legally liable for) at your wedding event within Australia, you become legally liable to pay damages, we will indemnify against such damages and all legal costs and expenses up to $5,000,000.

Accidental Damage to Hired Equipment

If hired equipment, including marquees, tents, gazebos, portable flooring, chairs, tables, furniture or lighting equipment, is accidentally damaged whilst in your care, custody and control, we will reimburse you, up to the limits outlined in the table of benefits, the cost to repair or replace the accidentally damaged hired equipment.
